Fears Iran Helping Al-Qaida for ‘Spectacular’ Attack

Iran has established an “operational relationship” with al-Qaida’s core leadership amid fears the terror organization is planning a spectacular attack against the West, according to a troubling new report.

Sky News reports that the attack could come in retaliation for the killing of Osama bin-Laden last year, or as retaliation for any strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities. And a likely target of the terrorist attack would be the Olympic Games to be held this summer in London...read full story

Google Dodged IPhone Users’ Privacy With DoubleClick, Stanford Stud...

Google Inc. (GOOG) violated users’ privacy on Apple Inc.’s Safari Web browser, Stanford University research found, adding to a drumbeat of criticism from consumer groups and lawmakers over how the search giant tracks people online.

Using its DoubleClick ad network, Google has been dodging a privacy setting in Safari, the primary Web browser on the iPhone, iPad and Apple computers, according to a report today by Stanford’s Security Lab and the Center for Internet and Society. The study named three other companies -- Vibrant Media Inc., Media Innovation Group LLC and PointRoll Inc. -- that also evaded privacy settings...read full story

Reports of Iran's Cooperation with Al-Qaeda for Terrorist Attack Should be Taken Seriously
Reports that Iran is cooperating with al-Qaeda for some type of “spectacular” attack on the West have to be taken seriously, particularly in light of the attempted assassinations of Israeli diplomats last week and the revelation last year that al-Qaeda had begun using Iran as a transit point to its bases in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Iran could be helping al-Qaeda in very specific ways to plan the kind of high-profile attack that would allow it to once again assert itself as a serious threat to security in the world...read full story

Taxpayers Paying For Illegal Immigrants in Connecticut

Generally when you think of illegal immigrants you tend to think of the southern states from Florida across to California.  One of the last states you may think of as having a problem with illegal immigrants is Connecticut, but guess again.

In 2007, federal immigration agents raided a location in New Haven, Connecticut and arrested eleven men on the charges of being in the United States illegally.  The men filed suit against the federal government and claimed that their rights were violated.

Nearly five years later, the federal government has announced that they have reached a settlement with the eleven illegals.  In the announcement, the feds have agreed to pay the men $350,000 and to stop all deportation proceedings against them...read full story

Obama Giving Away Strategic American Islands to Russia

May 1881 US explorers approached Jeannette Island and Henrietta Island and claimed them for the United States. According to some US individuals, including the group State Department Watch, eight Arctic islands currently controlled by Russia, including Wrangel Island, are claimed by the United States. However, according to the United States Department of State no such claim exists. The USSR/USA Maritime Boundary Treaty, which has yet to be approved by the Russian Duma, does not address the status of these islands nor the maritime boundaries associated with them.

The Obama Administration is reportedly giving away Wrangell, Bennett, Jeannette and Henrietta islands in Alaska to Russia. The federal government drew the line to put these seven Alaskan islands on the Russian side
Former senatorial candidate Joe Miller broke this story at World Net Daily:

The Obama administration, despite the nation’s economic woes, effectively killed the job-producing Keystone Pipeline last month. The Arab Spring is turning the oil production of Libya and other Arab nations over to the Muslim Brotherhood. Iraq is distancing itself from the U.S. And everyone recognizes that Iran, whose crude supplies are critical to the European economy, will do anything it can to frustrate America’s strategic interests. In the face of all of this, Obama insists on cutting back U.S. oil potential with outrageous restrictions...read full story

Obama Turns Blind Eye to Iranian Peril

Phares, while noting that he believes the Iranian quest for nuclear weapons is “not stoppable,” also says a resolution passed in the U.S. Senate last week is a “message to the administration” that it is time to confront the Islamic republic before it obtains such weapons.

Coincidentally, Phares’ remarks in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV on Tuesday came on the same day that an Iranian official vowed that his country would take pre-emptive action against its enemies if it felt its national interests were endangered...read full story

Facebook Defriending is on the Rise

If you've been defriending a lot lately, you're not alone.

A new study out from Pew today confirms what we already know: People don't want to collect as many Facebook friends as possible. Social networkers are becoming more selective, managing their accounts and "pruning" people from their lists. More users are untagging themselves from photos, deleting comments and unfriending others. Women and younger users tend to prune more than others: 67% of women with social network site profiles have deleted users compared with 58% of men...read full story

Did you hear about Rush Limbaugh, President Obama and Sandra Fluke?  Fluke, who is a Georgetown law student, testified last week before a House committee about the high cost of contraceptions and that the government should include it as an insurance requirement.  She said that some students spend a $1000 or more a year on contraception.  Limbaugh went off on her calling her a prostitute.  President Obama made a phone call to her saying that her parents should be proud of her.

Now which of you parents would be proud of your daughter who spends a $1000 bucks or more on aids to help her keep from getting pregnant while she is having sex with her lover or lovers?  I don't think I would be the proud parent sharing this with my friends and neighbors by the pool or at social gatherings.  What parent wants to talk about how expensive it is for their daughter to sleep around.  Instead I think I would be having a talk with my daughter about spending more time with her books and less time with her lovers.

Also, including it as part of the mandates in Obamacare; who do you think is going to be paying for this?  Just something else to shoot up the cost of health insurance for all of us, not just the promiscuous high school and college students.  Do you want to be paying higher premiums just so somebody else can sleep around without the fear of pregnancy outside the bounds of marriage?  Let us know what you think.
